The album received mostly negative reviews from critics. Comments compared him to Soulja Boy Tell 'Em, saying: "like Soulja Boy, he became famous off of a one-dance hit."

The Source said that there is a little hope in the songs "By Faith" and "Do You Know".

As of May 2009, Local stores like Best Buy, Circuit City, and FYE do not receive shipments of the album. The shipments were cut because if an album does not reach a certain number of sales by a certain time, the stores delete it from there system and ship it back to the warehouse. Though the album is still sold through the store's website and Amazon.
